Moved to New Hampshire a year ago and have been looking for a Bible teaching / believing church since then. The people here are friendly and kind and their music is current and refreshing. You won't get lost in the crowd but you will be comfortable. It's worth the hour drive every time!

Message is clear and direct, the music is well played, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and best of all, you can clearly find God there.

Have you ever read a review online and you are sure the company selling it wrote it? This church is a big disappointment where it really matters - the teaching and how people walk their walk. The music is good - not the old-fashioned stuff you usually hear, but is that really any reason to go to church? The preacher is fake, most of the people don't really want to talk to new people - they break off into their clicks and pretend not to notice you. If you want authentic, this is not the place to be.

I am concerned about some of the comments I have been reading, but I can maybe understand where these peoples’ hearts are coming from. The truth is that it’s not the best church in the world, but it’s hardly the worst either. I am afraid it is much like Paul would say –lukewarm. We don’t do outreach like we used to, most of the tithe is used to support Pastor Brian and his family (I have heard it is as much as 90% of the tithe) and I believe that some of the vision and joy the church had once has been forsaken somewhere along the way. I will agree that the webpage is misleading. Our church is not so big and many of the ministries listed on it have been things we have done in the past but no longer do. Also Pastor Brian will sometimes show slideshows during the sermon on the growth or loss of church attendance. That has always concerned me, perhaps because it seems to mirror his heart and his priorities as far as I can tell. He wants more people on Sundays and I think this has led to him watering sermons and not speaking out about ongoing sins in the congregation at Cornerstone.
But there is much good at the church. Suellen, the pastor’s wife, is probably the best part of our church. I can’t emphasize the value of what she does because in many ways she is really the salt and light of the church. She encourages the women in a way I have rarely seen. She organizes events, leads the Kids Zone, home schools her children and volunteers around town. Just talk to her. If you are a woman you’ll find that despite anything else about Cornerstone you disagree with you will want to be there just because of her.
I wish the men of the church had such a role model and I am praying that someone comes to our church or is raised up to be one. I can’t tell you the last time I heard about the men actually just getting together outside church and men’s groups have always been hit or miss. This really shows. The men are not close. The women get together sometimes (I wish it was more) but I don’t think I’ve ever heard of that happening for the men. We can’t expect our church to be strong if the men are not encouraging one another, sharpening one another, holding one another accountable.
I hope and pray that God will speak to Pastor Brian, that He will work on his heart, make him speak boldly and be a better shepherd to our flock. None of us is perfect yet and it is my hope that when we do lose our way someone is faithful to God and around to pray for us.Added January 12, 2017 by A Google User - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Relaxed and relevant. We came to check out Cornerstone three years ago and have been coming back ever since. The message is very interesting and skillfully applied to our life today. The people are genuine and friendly. We look forward to going to church on Sunday.
